Editorial and testing methodology
How the LocalFlux Editorial Team creates and maintains product guidance.
Who writes the guides
LocalFlux guides are maintained by the LocalFlux Editorial Team at Fuzzysense. The team combines product documentation, controlled app tests, and editorial review. This byline describes a team process rather than a fictional individual author.
How product claims are checked
Route coverage comes from the versioned release manifest used by the app documentation. Conversion examples use synthetic or openly documented fixtures where practical. A guide distinguishes a measured result from a guarantee and states limitations that can affect other files.
- Source files and outputs are compared for format, dimensions, duration, page count, or other properties relevant to the route.
- Original-file preservation and local processing claims are checked against the documented workflow.
- Private names, local profile paths, account details, and customer data are excluded from public media.
- Evidence files remain available for reproducibility but are excluded from search indexing.
Translations and maintenance
English is the source edition. Localized editions preserve the same task, cautions, evidence, and useful depth rather than using a shortened boilerplate summary. Source hashes and automated checks flag editions that need review when the English source changes.
Editorial metadata
Articles use one consistent metadata set and do not display time-based editorial fields. Product versions remain visible when needed to define compatibility, and reproducibility records may retain machine timestamps inside downloadable evidence.
Corrections
If a guide appears inaccurate or incomplete, email support@localflux.app with the article URL, source format, intended output, and the behavior you observed.
